In-Home Veterinary Services

How does your service work?

We are a mobile veterinary clinic that visits you and your animal at your home or farm. The major difference between our fees and those of a regular veterinary clinic is our fee to come to your location. This is called a “House Call” or “Farm Call” fee. There are no additional fees for visits within a 7-mile radius.

We have had to make some restrictions on locations we are able to service and will typically travel if within 60 minutes from our stationary hospital. If this is not the case for you, we would be happy to service your pets at our clinic location.

What is your service area?

As we bring this additional service to our clinic, we will be starting with a soft launch, doing 2 ambulatory days per week. We routinely travel to towns in Franklin County, Adam’s County, Cumberland County, and Fulton County. Our mobile veterinarian is currently licensed in Pennsylvania.

What kinds of animals to you see?

Can you see an animal in my house?

Yes! We do not currently have a traditional “mobile veterinary clinic”.

We PLEASE ask that your small animal is in either a confined room, on a leash or inside a carrier so your appointment time is not wasted on staff chasing your animal. We like to practice fear free techniques whenever feasible. If you have a fearful, anxious, or stressed pet, please let us know ahead of time so appropriate medications for calming can be prescribed ahead of time.

For our farm friends, please have them ready and contained or confined prior to our arrival.

How can I schedule an appointment?

Call or text us at 717-264-2615. We can travel to your house or you can come to us at our stationary hospital at 1986 Lincoln Way East, Chambersburg, PA. We will continue to follow our current new client and/or new patient protocols by requiring a deposit in order to schedule an appointment.

What is the length of the appointment?

For small animal appointments, we spend 20 to 40 minutes with your pet. Please have cats in carriers and ready to be seen so that this time is not spent finding your pet.

What forms of payment do you take?

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check and credit cards.
